Air Force LDC Recruitment 2024 Important Dates
The Indian Air Force Group C Civilian Recruitment 2024 notification has been released for Lower Division Clerk, Hindi Typist, and Driver Posts in the employment newspaper of 3-9 August 2024. The offline applications can be submitted from 3 August to 1 September 2024 to the concerned station/ unit of the Air Force. The exam date will be notified later by the Air Force.
IAF Group C Vacancy 2024 & Educational Qualification
The number of vacancies for the Group C posts such as Lower Division Clerk, Hindi Typist and Driver in the IAF is released. There are a total of 182 positions, out of which 157 for Lower Division Clerk, 18 for Hindi Typist and 7 for Driver. Educational Qualification:
- Lower Division Clerk: One must have passed the Intermediate exam with any stream, additionally the candidate has typing skill in English with 35 WPM.
- Hindi Typist: An applicant must have passed Class 12 Exam, and the individual must have typing skill in Hindi with 30 WPM.
- Driver: A candidate must have passed the Matriculation exam, hold a HMV or LMV Driving Licence, and also have driving experience of at least 2 years.

IAF Group C Selection Process 2024
The selection process for recruitment of various Group C posts under the Indian Air Force consists of multiple stages, which are as follows.
- Written Exam: Candidates who will apply for recruitment of LDC, Hindi Typist or Driver in the IAF will be called for Written Exam, date for the same is not yet disclosed officially by the Indian Air Force, but there is a high speculation that it will take place in September or October 2024.
- Skill, Practical or Physical Test: Candidates who will pass the written exam will be called for Skill, Practical or Physical Test, if applicable, it is likely to be administered within six weeks after the release of the result for Written Examination.
