SSC JHT Eligibility Criteria 2024
Education Qualification:
- Possess a Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject, or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
- Hold a Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or as the medium of examination.
- Have a Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject, or as the medium of an examination.
- Obtain a Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
- Attain a Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects, or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.
- Possess a recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa, or have 2 years’ experience as a translator from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 18 years old to take the exam, with a maximum age limit of 30 years.
- SC/ST candidates have a 5-year relaxation
- OBC candidates have a 3-year relaxation
- Persons with disabilities (PwD) have a relaxation of up to 10 years.
